to get to Snowdon Lodge from Birmingham
By
Car:-
From Birmingham take M6 (north). After Junction 10
turn onto M54 leading onto the A5. Follow A5 for Llangollen, Corwen.
Three miles past Corwen turn left onto A494 for Bala. At Bala turn
right onto A4212 for Trawsfynydd, Porthmadog. Follow signs for Porthmadog.
Drive over the "cob", which has a 5 pence toll most days.
Carry on through Porthmadog straight at a roundabout, over a railway
level crossing and follow the road for 1/2 a mile out of town until
you come to the next village sign of Tremadog and we are the first
house on the right opposite the sign, with the entrance to the carpark
on the right hand side of the house. Click

140 miles. Drive time: 2 - 2 1/2 hours depending on traffic. Please
stick to speed limits for reasons of health and also the police
have many speed cameras on all roads in Wales.

Ones of the train at Porthmadog station walk to the main road approx.
20 meter's and turn LEFT walk out of town for approx. 600 meter's
and we are the first house on the right hand side opposite the Tremadog
town sign and large chapel.

from airports and ferry ports, or when intending to travel during
the busiest holiday periods.

A National Express
coach service, number 545 from Birmingham, Digbeth, leaves daily
at 14.00 which goes to Tremadog square arrive Tremadog square 19.57,
only 150 meter's from our front door. In summer it's necessary to
get the bus tickets in advance.
